The Pug is a small, short-legged breed of dog that originated in China. They are often confused with the similarly named Pekingese and came to be known as “the pug” after one was presented at an 18th-century court presentation by French ambassador Pierre Caunay de St. Martins called The Dog Of The Sun, who found it during a trip to China in 1776.

The “pug height male” is the height of a pug. The average pug is usually between 12 and 14 inches tall.

The “pug size length” is the height of a pug in inches. A Pug’s size can range from 6 to 14 inches.
